Afterburn

I went to Nicoles's moms birthday party last night. Now that was more like a party. Real food, real decent people, and good laugh. There were some people I barely knew, but apparently, they've met me before. I suppose it's from my birthday party when I was 18 (read my old website about the party I had at Nicole Hawkins Suite). I was famous for cooking and making sushi.....and washing up.

That was decent, and then Daryl helped me shift out all my old stuff from his basement back to North Vancouver. We had a nice talk about his latest development, arranged for snowboarding in the future.

Now my room is completely a war zone due to the amount of stuff I have from High School. Most of them bring back a lot of memories of Pre and Post secondary years. Some items, mainly clothes, make me wonder why I ever bought them or worn them, or did my parents got them for me?

At least I got my old PC back, and my tong for grilling!

Hell, it's gonna be a long day.

One after another

Don't know what's going on today, but I met two English ladies who came to Coast Mountain Sports to purchase some snowboards. One of them was from Woking, and the other one from the Isle of Wight. I spoke to them while packing up their gear at the cash counter. The one from the Isle of Wight lived right across Wootton Creek, pretty much near Fishbourne. She told me about the Dragon boat races on the water and the fireworks in the Solent during the Trafalgar 200, and I was there for it recently. What are the chances ,eh?! She wrote her email down and offered to buy me a pint of beer when I visit the Isle of Wight again. I told her I would work at PGL Little Canada very soon.

After the transaction, Lucia turned up! She worked with me in Ellis Brigham while I was in London last year. Had a nice talk with her and her boyfriends development. It was all gravy man.

My transaction numbers are getting better today, still go some more work to do in the store.

Sunday Boyfriend

I had a dream last night where I met this girl in a Bar and grill. a very dark restaurant, with bright spot lights coming down. She was a waitress there, eventually got my number right away after I spoke to her. You mean I didn't order any food at all? That's not me, NOWAY!

The next thing you know , I was in her house, stainless steel Kitchen. She was sick and tired of the food at the restaurant, and she wanted a guy to make her dinner, take the garbage out, re-arrange her home and someone to talk to on the weekends.

Well, that's what dating is all about ....I guess?

And there was the very symbolic item on the fridge: a few magnets holding a piece of paper with a message written "This is my Sunday boyfriend", and hanging off from the back, there was a picture of me; I was in the far side walking down a hill wearing my North Face Orange fleece and Mountain Hardwear hiking pants.

I took a marker, and crossed out "Sunday", and wrote "holiday" next to it. Why? I don't know. The next thing I knew , the Brunette wrapped her arms around my waist.

She was always wearing black.

It got very blurry from there, but I can still remember myself with Number 1. Did I mention she didn't have a name at all? She's .....number 1, and she told me I was her number one boyfriend. Well, that's good to know, at least I'm not being used and abused for the weekend, and every day of the week there's a new guy for her.

Still, the word "Sunday Boyfriend" remains in my head. What is it?

Get a death

How about this: I didn't get to sleep until 6 this morning. Finally, I got some sleep for 3 hours, got up and started wondering about what my North Face Ski jacket stock is like today. Then I got up, and started watching Stargate SG-1. Went back to bed at noon, got up at 3:30 PM. Bloody hell.

So there wasn't much to be done, it was getting dark by 4 PM. I thought I could pay a little visit at Second Wave, a snowboard and surf store along Lonsdale Avenue, not far from my house. Speaking of experience, I spoke to this sales associate who rode in every mountain in B.C for 13 years, on mostly Option, Atomic and Lamar boards.(I suppose Lamar was what he started off with). He told me he doesn't do a lot of parks anymore, getting aged these days. (Dude, so he's old school, who witness the birth of snowboard, eh?)
Showed me some Burton binding and boots. Decent guy I gotta tell you. He owns the store, runs it like a "mama-papa" store, offers discount most of the time.

Right, so my snowboarding life is finally returning to normal. However, I've been constantly being disturbed by a group of factions that seem to have no desire of ending peopls misery; before I went to Britain for my Gap year, I spent 3 months working in a country restaurant and in a youth art camp to save up some cash for my trip. It was a brilliant summer, until this faction, or should I say the leader of "destruction" who constantly land guilt upon me. The accusation: Hating her. That;s right, it's a young female and she thinks I hate her. Just another reason pressurize me for her sorry butt; and today, after 2 years and 3 months of adventure, I get a "welcome home", so called welcome home message, from the same old faction. Still thinking I hate her. To be honest with you, she's not even good looking. Not size 14, not up for exploring my territory. Just the kinda person who makes everyone say BUZZ OFF.

Hey, if you are that person reading this right now, instead of telling you to get a life, get a death.

Day 2

Day off. Listening to the Isle of Wight radio. Feels like back in the dinning hall on Little Canada centre. Ocean FM reminds me of being in the archery range fixing targets and dump trucks driving by......

4 years till 2010

So it is, the beginning of everything all over again. I spent my Christmas with my godfather Doug, marainated a giant turkey the night before, along with some potatoes, brussel spouts and Salad. My sister Amanda came over a few days later, met Carlisa, the owner of the house. New Years Eve was at Jen D's place. She had most of her friends from work, except for her boyfriend, Gary, from high school. Laughs, stories, tales, jokes, drinks and pass outs. Worked the next morning after 5 hours of sleep. Made $1499 on one sale by store closing time, pretty much over hit budget on New Years day, not bad considering how died it was in the store.

The Wirless Internet Router just got linked up this morning, pretty amazing speed.

What should I do for the next 3 days off?
